What’s New in Coronado Beach Panama?

By Cynthia Lehman cynthia@lehmanteam.com

We are excited because there are new things happening in the Coronado beach area!

A new art class called Design and Dine meets once a month on a Friday at Sukha Restaurant.  For a nominal fee the emerging Picasso’s get a delicious lunch, instruction on painting a specific theme on canvas and fun with friends.  Karen, a retired art teacher instructs the group in a step by step process and everyone leaves with their work of art.  Of course, many of those who have joined in the fun have found the more they drink,  the better they paint.  The class is a great way to spend time with your friends and learn something new.  It has been receiving rave reviews.  Hope to see you there!

People move to Panama for a variety of reasons.  Some want to enjoy the life they deserve, others are looking for a change and several have constrained income and want to live in a location they can enjoy on their limited budget.  No matter what the motivation, living in a rapidly emerging third world country affords a plethora of opportunities.

I tell people I have an idea a day, I just can’t do all of them.  That is why I am thrilled to have the Beach Business Networking meeting to attend.  Once a week at 8:15am on Tuesday mornings at BluWater Bistro in Bahia Resort the entrepreneurs of the area get together to collaborate, make connections and build mutually beneficial relationships. They serve as a resource and help each other succeed.  The meeting began in January and has continued to grow.  Attendees come from inside and outside of Panama.
The gathering is open to everyone, those with businesses, those thinking about it and those just curious and want to meet people.
Mark your calendar and visit to establish your professional contacts and get ‘plugged’ into the community. The coffee and refreshments will be waiting for you!
