From island breezes to mountain views – Panama is where I found home.
Hi, I’m Cynthia! Originally from Canada, I spent over 30 years living and working in the Caribbean. For 16 of those years, I called the Cayman Islands home, where I worked as a scuba diving instructor and ran my own underwater photography and video business.
In 2007, my husband and I set sail on our 39’ sailboat and landed in Bocas del Toro, Panama. We fell in love with the vibrant culture and breathtaking beauty, and soon decided to make Panama our home. After 10 amazing years exploring the Bocas archipelago, we traded the sea breeze for the mountain air and moved to Boquete.
For the past 7 years, I’ve worked in property management, rentals, and real estate throughout Chiriquí. Today, I live in Playa Barqueta — a place that offers me the best of both worlds: the peaceful ocean and the stunning mountains of Panama.
